What's your musical origin story?

My musical origins were listening to my parents record collection, sat with headphones on behind the sofa!! Influences being Motown & Fleetwood Mac, then 80’s music! That changed, as well as my life, when the 90’s rave culture came along. Been hooked on House and Tech ever since.

What's your favorite thing about being a DJ?

The music and seeing people dance and smile to your set.

What's your go-to track to get the party started?

Hozho - Honey trap. What a cracking building vibe track.

Share a memorable DJing moment or gig experience.

Playing at The Church Club in Dundee. Warming up for Illyus and Barrientos. They came on stage, gave me a hug and said ‘that was an epic set mate, nice job, thanks’ I was shocked!

What's your favorite genre to spin, and why?

I love chilled psy genres, but really love playing Melodic Organic House.

If you could collaborate with any artist (living or dead), who would it be?

Alexander Bollinger, Swiss producer. Absolute legend

What's your secret weapon track that always gets a great response?

This is going to sound weird, but Bee Gees, yes I said that! But mixed and given a banging bass, you’ll get folk dancing! Well who wouldn’t!

What's one piece of advice you'd give to aspiring DJs?

Never give up on your dreams, don’t stick to one genre when you start. Learn different techniques with genres. Find your style then focus on that, so you’ll get known for that genre.
