One track I play often is “Got to Give It Up” by Marvin - great uplifting track to get any party going.

Share a memorable DJing moment or gig experience.

I will never forget that feeling of speaking into the mic for the 1st time and had the control of the floor. It was and always is a boost that shifts you into the next gear.

What's your favorite genre to spin, and why?

I love the 70s, 80s & 90s and have drawn influences from artists like Earth, Wind & Fire, Bob Marley, N.W.A, Rakim, Mac Dre, Prince & Marvin Gaye.

What's one piece of advice you'd give to aspiring DJs?

One piece of advice for DJs - respect your audience, take care of them.  It goes hand in hand if you have a mobile dj business. Take care of the customer!  If I can collaborate with an artist it would be DJ Jazzy Jeff, Ice Cube or Bob Marley. My go to genres are old school funk and hip hop. I am guilty of being a hip hop head (Being a teen during 90s music was hella dope!). My journey as a DJ is just getting started…come vibe with me!
