House & Garage
OMPR
The vast majority of what I play is House & Garage, tinged with
soul and disco. I'm not opposed to a departure from this if it feels good. I focus on spinning house and garage across all eras - from the genre's pioneering days through to today's freshest cuts.
Bobby D
Raised on a diet of soulful music from hitting the record button on Kiss 100 show to record shopping at soho’s many record shops, listening to anything with a groove and have always
drawn to those deep, soulful, jazzy, funky vibes.
OMPR
I witnessed house music's first chart invasion and
never looked back. Raised on a diet of Motown and disco at home, I found my musical calling in the sweaty, small dark rooms of energy driven legendary venues - cutting
my teeth with Saturday nights at Barrumba on Shaftesbury Ave hosted by Bobby & Steve and losing myself in the raw energy of Paul ‘Trouble’ Anderson and a whole host of live PAs at The Loft in Camden every Wednesday. Those formative nights shaped my philosophy: music should change your mood

Sharing the music I love and digging out those forgotten unfamiliar gems
OMPR
Being able to see a reaction from someone who is emembering or discovering a tune for the first time and the effect that has on them. It's a gift.
Bobby D
I’m not one to play the same track all the time, I like to dig for those undiscovered underground gems.
OMPR
Something that makes people want to sing back at you, they are classics for a reason, Bucketheads - The Bomb, MAW
feat. India - To be in love, Jamiroquai - Space Cowboy, there are too many to mention, you know them when you feel them.
Bobby D
Anytime I get to DJ with like minded folks is a memorable one!
OMPR
Memorable experiences there are so many but some things that still make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up
include Kenny Bobien live at The Loft, Darryl D’Bonneau live at The Loft, Sounds of Blackness - The Pressure live at Southport Dance Weekender (yes the old one!), Karizma’s Southport after party, 4 deck madness back when it wasn’t the norm!
Bobby D
House & Garage in the main but still have love for disco, soul and boogie…
OMPR
House & Garage. My philosophy is that music should change your mood, and I believe house music will never die - it just
gets better with age.

Doing a B2B with Paul Trouble Anderson would be so much fun!!
OMPR
Aside from Bobby D and Powdersoul, it would have to be Paul 'Trouble' Anderson (RIP)
Bobby D
Can’t nail it down to one track, but artist wise, Atjazz, Karizma, have some heavy heavy dancefloor tracks!ssline drop
OMPR
A great edit of a familiar song that feels good but surprises people always works for me.
Bobby D
Enjoy it, know your music inside out.
OMPR
Simple. If it feels good, play it, if you don't love it, don't do it. Worry about tunes not technique, people feel they don't
analyse!
